Coach Matthew Shirvell

Adi (Coach Matt’s chess student in group classes and individual lessons) said: Coach Matt started teaching me about two years ago, and in those two years, my growth has skyrocketed, to say the least. I still remember that after our first lesson I played a bunch of chess games online and at one point went on a 15 game win streak. I owe my new growth to Coach Matt who due to his coaching gave me the push that I needed to win the CT 8th Grade State Chess Championship. Thank you, Coach Matt
