Coach Daniel is currently USCF Rated 1935 and is ranked 53rd in the state of CT.
Daniel Zhou started playing chess seriously in 2015. By the end of that year, he attained a rating of 1000. His rating kept shooting up by increments in the triple digits every year until crossing 1900 in 2019.
At the 2019 Foxwoods Open, Daniel tied for first in the U2000 section, going 6 and 1 and winning a cash prize of $3000.
