DIG Coach Saul Soccer

Samantha Harrington (mother of a Capture the Flag student in Weston, CT) said: Coach Saul was absolutely amazing with our group of high energy boys. He had them engaged from the start of CTF and they were active and all smiles the entire time. Our boys could not wait for CTF every week!

Coach Saul Quechol was born in Bridgeport, CT, and graduated from Fairfield Warde High School. During this time, he played soccer for Revolution United and Southwest FC. Currently, he attends Norwalk Community College, majoring in Exercise Science.

DIG Coach Saul Capture the Flag

In early 2018, Saul began volunteer-coaching for the Kick for Nick Soccer Academy in Bridgeport, CT. This program is free to the participants and he has been a huge part of its success. Because of his excellent coaching skills, Coach Saul joined the DIG Team in early 2019.

The kids respect him and look forward to learning from and playing with him. He keeps them engaged and knows when they need a break. He’s always respectful towards the parents too.I get to the field early since I pick up my daughter from another school, and I see him arriving early and preparing everything with great care. We are lucky to have him as our kids’ coach!

Coach Saul leads DIG soccer, chess, and capture the flag classes in many towns/cities in Southwest CT. In recognition of his great work, he was awarded the 2019 DIG Coach of the Year.
