“I was invited to come out and assist in coaching at Kick for Nick this week and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Before the practice, I researched both Kick for Nick and DIG organizations and was truly inspired. I have been working as a full time soccer coach for three years and have been involved in soccer my whole life, however I have never seen such excitement and joy than I did when I arrived in Bridgeport. Every child was smiling, running around, socializing and having a great time. The bond they had with their coaches was amazing to see! The Kick for Nick and DIG coaches were always engaging with the children and looked like they were having as much fun as the kids. The children and everyone in the organization has had such a huge impact on me after only one practice session and I cannot wait to go again next week! Keep up the good work guys! And if you can support them in anyway possible, please do!”

“DIG USA has worked with our library teaching children and teens how to play chess since I have worked there. Not only do the kids love Dan and the other coaches but the parents have nothing but wonderful things to say as well. We have collaborated on some events and projects together and it is always a success where the participants have fun, learn and leave wanting to come back. The important qualities the kids learn with DIG USA have long-lasting effects on them. I highly recommend Dan and the DIG team!”

“The name of DIG truly does fit. I’ve seen nothing but determination by all of their coaches in the process of starting the partnership between them and the YMCA. Integrity is something that they practice with every Wednesday session. Oh and Growth? They’ve grown exponentially since the first Wednesday and there’s no telling what the future holds. However, if it’s held by DIG USA I’m sure it’ll be positive.”

“‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others’ – Mahatma Gandhi…. The services (soccer & chess) DIG USA are offering free of charge to many inner city youth is absolutely amazing. They are providing quality lessons for those who may not otherwise be able to afford lessons. My son has participated in many of the soccer lessons and has reaped a two-fold reward, he has gained confidence and skills and has developed great friendships. The coaches are very qualified & experienced players who has selflessly given their time & energy to our youth. And I can honestly say each coach is inviting, friendly, so full of life & extremely patient with the children. What this organization is doing is heartwarming & newsworthy! DIG USA thank u for losing yourself in the service of others!”

“Heartening to see true good out there. My son loves DIG for the education, camaraderie, challenge and fun. He also had the opportunity to help Coach Dan teach kids in Bridgeport. Lesson for lesson is real…for every paid lesson one lesson is donated. Not only is my son learning chess in a wonderful environment he is learning the gift of giving. What more can you ask for?”
