Roman Battle History/Risk Board Game Summer Class w/Coach Dan

Coach Dan will be teaching about Roman battle history while finishing each class with some Risk (the board game) this summer in Weston. He will comver a different Roman battle each class, going in chronological order. They will start wtih the battle that ignited the Roman Empire and then finish with the final battle that ended it. Students will learn about the strategies used in each battle along with learning about the important characters involved.

Coach Dan has taken DIG History students to France, Belgium and Germany, visiting places like Versailles, Waterloo and the Eagles Nest. Each night while onthese trips we battled in a game of Risk, bringing to life all the battles that we learned about.

This program will cost $36 per class or $288 for the nine weeks (one class free for purchasing the entire summer). It will strat June 17th and go until August 19th with August 5th off because we will be in Rome with students for our Summer history trip. You can still join that trip! Classes will be at the DIG Complex from 5:15 – 6:45 on Tuesdays.
