At Team DIG USA, we believe in empowering children through sports, chess, and creative learning. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where kids can grow physically, mentally, and socially. Located in Weston, CT, we offer a variety of programs, including school break camps, summer camps, and after-school activities, designed to inspire confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills.

President

Dan Starbuck Pelletier

Coach Dan Starbuck Pelletier is the founder of DIG Inc., a youth development program in Connecticut that uses soccer and chess to teach life skills. A former NCAA Division II soccer captain and Hall of Fame inductee at the University of Montevallo, he also holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and a Master’s from Fordham University. Dan has coached countless young athletes and chess players, with his work featured in News 12, the Hartford Courant, and more.

Director of Operations

Victor Zelaya

Coach Victor Zelaya is a passionate coach in a leadership role at DIG Inc., serving as camp director for the Wilton and Weston locations. Known for his energy and connection with kids, Coach Victor has led camps with over 100 participants. In addition to his camp work, he provides private soccer and chess lessons, having worked one-on-one with more than ten students. His dedication & ability to inspire young players make him a key part of the team.

Lesson for Lesson L4L

At Team DIG USA, we believe every child deserves access to quality programs. Through our Lesson for Lesson (L4L) initiative, for every paid lesson, a child in need receives a free lesson. Since 2016, we’ve provided over 50,000 free lessons, empowering kids through sports, chess, and creative learning. Located in Weston, CT, our programs build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills while fostering inclusivity and community. Join us in making a difference—one lesson at a time!
